Comparison between the documentary analysed in P1 and my chosen idea
The documentary I analysed in P1 was Anthony Joshua: Road to Klitschko and the idea I chose to shoot as my documentary was the modern technology and they don't really have anything in common with each other except for that the target audience age group cross over as my chosen idea is aimed at teens and the P1 documentary is aimed at teens and young adults but other than that they are completely different. However my idea which I did not choose which was the football rivalries one did link to documentary from P1 as they were both based on Sport and they both have hints of a poetic style to them.
I chose not to follow the same mode as the P1 documentary as I am going to for my chosen idea for my documentary because the P1 was a poetic type of documentary in a way but it is mainly just a biography style documentary but I didn't think I would be able to film something like that unless it was on myself and I didn't want to do that so I looked at the 6 styles and thought an expository documentary would be a good one to film and I was interested in looking at a social issue which is modern technology controls us.
For both the style and content I don't think I will use anything similar to documentary I analysed in P1 based on the fact that they are both completely different and I don't think anything from the P1 documentary would work in my chosen idea.
